WITH FARES STARTING FROM UNDER $1,000 RETURN 

Today, Qantas has launched sale fares across its entire North and South American network, with thousands of discounted seats on offer for customers looking to book their next international getaway to the Americas. 

Qantas CEO, Cam Wallace says, “We know Australians love to visit the Americas and last year alone, we flew over half a million customers to destinations across North and South America.” 

Customers will have access to discounted flights from most of Australia’s capital cities across all cabins to LA, New York, Dallas, San Francisco, Vancouver, Santiago and Honolulu. With select travel dates during key periods including Northern Hemisphere summer, Canadian ski season right through to the end of the January 2026 school holidays, plus throughout some of the USA’s biggest events such as Coachella. 

Economy return sale fares start from AUD$999 from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to Honolulu, with the inaugural service to Hawaii from the Victorian capital taking off on 1 May*. Other standout economy return sale fares include AUD$1,199 from Sydney and Melbourne to Los Angeles, AUD$1,399 from Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney to Vancouver and AUD$1,799 from Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane to Santiago. 

Not stoping there, the sale also includes fares from Sydney to Dallas Fort Worth, which from August will operate on the Qantas A380 for the first time since 2020. 

Not forgetting the Frequent Flyers, this sale also provides yet another opportunity for frequent flyers to use their points, with the discounted seats able to book as Classic Plus Flight Rewards. 

Classic Plus reward seats offer some of the best value across the frequent flyer program, with the number of points required dropping during sale periods. Some example Classic Plus fares include:

• Sydney to Honolulu return in Economy for 60,300 points (+ $392 in taxes, fees and carrier charges).  
• Sydney to Los Angeles return in Economy for 80,700 points (+ $392 in taxes, fees, and carrier charges). 
• Melbourne to San Francisco return in Premium Economy for 177,400 points (+ $639 in taxes, fees and carrier charges).
